Tools

I work Solution-Focused (Korzybski Institute). From where you are now towards where you want to grow. Solution focused is goal-directed, and focuses on solutions, rather than on the problems that brought the client to seek therapy.

Besides being a Solution focused therapist, I have build up knowledge, proficiencies and experience in different schools, tools and techniques:

  • Scientific Hypnosis (VHYP): a trance-like state in which you have heightened focus and concentration.

  • Sports psychology (KUL): psychological knowledge and skills to address optimal performance and well-being of athletes, developmental and social aspects of sports participation, and systemic issues associated with sports settings and organizations.

  • Clinical Psychology (VUB): Master in Clinical Psychology

  • Mindfulness and Self-Compassion: Process of combining the skills developed through mindfulness with the emotional practice of self-compassion.

  • Non Violent Communication: a way of interacting with ourselves and others that’s rooted in empathy and compassion.

  • ActionTypes: ways to assess the internal conditions with which our body organises survival mechanisms.

  • Seitai and Deep Motivational Drivers: expose the conditions for taking motivated action.

  • Brainspotting: A powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms

  • Holotropic Breathwork: a technique used to attain a non-ordinary level of consciousness.

  • Yoga Tummo: Also called “cold yoga”, is a practice where one exposes oneself to the cold on a voluntary basis.

  • Somatic Experience: Type of therapy geared towards helping people find healing from trauma

  • Organizational Health with Lencioni

  • Coactive coaching
